Ian Williams

Author of nine books and contributor to many more, Ian Williams has been covering international politics, business and finance for more than three dec... moreades and has reported from over sixty countries, appearing in newspapers and for broadcasters across the world. He has been President of the Foreign Press Association of the US since 2019. Suspended from Liverpool University in 1970 for protests about its Apartheid investments, he was a speech writer for UK Labour leader Neil Kinnock, and he has been in the US since 1989.
