‘Playing at the Camp Nou, there is nothing like it’
Robert Lewandowksi, who scored Barcelona’s first goal, spoke after the match: “We are so happy to be back. We feel great [to be back] at the Camp Nou. We played very well from the start.
“Playing at the Camp Nou is something else. There is nothing like it. It’s an honour to score the first goal at the new Spotify Camp Nou.
“I’ve had many experiences playing in other stadiums during my career, but here at the Camp Nou it’s something special. This first goal is something I will remember forever.
“From the start of the match, we had it in our heads that we needed to attack and look for the first goal. As a team, we know we have many matches until the end of the year. We don’t just have to play well; we need points. If we play like this, we can win every match.
“Coming back to the Camp Nou is a special day,” Lewandowski told DAZN. “We’re very happy and pleased. For returning with a win. We played very well. Two goals in each half … To be honest, it’s different when we play here. We gain in confidence.
“I’m 37 years old, but it was also special for me to play here again. Even better to score a goal.”

Barcelona dismantle Bilbao to top table
The Blaugrana make a triumphant return to the Spotify Camp Nou with a sublime 4-0 performance over Athletic Bilbao.
The celebrations started early after Lewandowksi opened the scoring after just four minutes. Torres then doubled the lead near the end of stoppage time in the first half.
Lopez added another for good measure, before Torres found the net once more to put the result truly beyond their opponents.
Bilbao were not helped by Sancet’s sending off, and despite having flashes of brilliance, just didn’t bring enough to the table against this attacking powerhouse.

GOAL! Torres brace. Barcelona 4-0 Athletic Bilbao
Yamal delivers another brilliant piece of skill to make it four for the hosts!
After artfully dodging two Bilbao players, he supplies the crispest of passes to put Torres through on goal.
Torres’ first touch is on point, before he finishes to the left of Simon. The initial goal is ruled offside, before a quick VAR check deems Torres was onside when Yamal released the ball.
